ABOUT US

Kingston Surveyors is an independent booking service connecting home buyers, homeowners, landlords and property professionals with a vetted panel of RICS Chartered Surveyors covering Kingston upon Thames, Greater London and the surrounding Home Counties.

Through a single point of contact you can arrange RICS Level 2 HomeBuyer Reports, Level 3 Building Surveys, specific defect inspections, Red Book valuations, party wall services, leasehold advice and expert witness reports. Whatever the instruction, it is matched to a surveyor on the panel whose accreditation and local track record fit the job.

Every Chartered Surveyor on the panel is regulated by RICS and bound by its professional and ethical standards, so the advice you receive is independent, insured and accountable.

Surveyors in London and Kingston

Rather than running a single high-street practice, Kingston Surveyors organises instructions across a panel of independent RICS professionals who already know the streets, housing stock and common defects of the areas they cover — from Victorian terraces in Surbiton to riverside apartments in central Kingston.

That model keeps things fast and competitive: you tell us about the property and what you need, we obtain a quote from the panel, and your appointed surveyor deals with you directly from instruction through to report. Solicitors, estate agents and architects regularly refer clients to the service because the process is simple to hand over and quick to turn around.

Our Values

Clear communication first. You should always know what has been booked, what it costs and when the report will arrive — before you commit. Quotes are free and carry no obligation.

Speed without shortcuts. Enquiries are usually answered the same working day, and inspections are scheduled for the earliest slot the property allows. The report itself is never rushed: it is the surveyor’s independent professional opinion, prepared to RICS standards.

Plain English. Survey findings only help if you can act on them, so reports and follow-up conversations focus on what the findings mean for your purchase, negotiation or dispute — not on jargon.

Kingston Chartered Surveyors-about us

How Long Until You Receive
the Report?

Most written reports arrive within about a week of the inspection; valuations and leasehold calculations can occasionally take a little longer. Your report is emailed to you once complete, and printed copies can be arranged on request. If you are working to a deadline — an exchange date or a court timetable — mention it when you book and the panel will work to it wherever possible.

Will the Survey be Undertaken by a
Chartered Surveyor?

Yes — all RICS-branded products arranged through Kingston Surveyors, such as Level 2 and Level 3 surveys and Red Book valuations, are carried out by RICS Chartered Surveyors or RICS Registered Valuers. Certain specialist services may be delivered by practitioners accredited by other recognised bodies. If a particular accreditation matters for your purposes, say so when you enquire and the instruction will be matched accordingly.
